It was easy and quick. I applied after seeing their ad. A recruiter called me for a quick chat. Then, I had a 30-min video meeting with the hiring manager. After that, a 2-hour on-site interview with the team. I heard back from the recruiter in about 7 days. They made an offer and we negotiated a bit.

I had a very professional HR representative, but the interview process was long with multiple office visits. It turns out they ended up hiring an internal candidate. Based on what the hiring manager said in the last interview, it felt like the decision might have been made already or it was going to be tough for any external person. My advice to the company is to only look outside if there aren't any good internal people. Decide on your internal candidates first, then look externally, especially for non-executive roles.

Behavioral Presentation

It was a really long interview process, and they did a good job of explaining the job initially. But once I got to the company, the role turned into a puppet position. You'd have a lot of responsibility and accountability, but no actual authority. Be careful, it's not what it seems.

I interviewed with 3 people. The conversations were pretty laid-back. They asked about my background and career goals. The whole thing took about 1.5 hours. They also showed me around the building and introduced me to some other staff.
