The interview process took over a month and consisted of four interviews. First, an initial call with the recruiter. Then, an interview with the hiring manager. This was followed by an interview with the hiring manager, head of sales, and HR business partner. The final interview was with an EVP appointed by Blackrock. Some interviews required me to create powerpoints outlining my 30/60/90 day plan and explaining why they should hire me. The overall experience was good, but it was very lengthy and not respectful of my time, nor the time of their internal teammates involved.

Behavioral Technical

So I interviewed a couple of years ago, and it seemed to go pretty well. At the end, I asked if they had any reservations about me, and they said no, nothing at all. But then I didn't get a second interview because apparently I didn't have enough experience. So, like, there *were* reservations, just say it! Fast forward 18 months, I applied for a different role in another division. I specifically told the recruiter, please don't send me to interview if the interviewers haven't read my CV and don't think I have enough experience. They said, no, they've read my CV and my experience is fine. Great, thank you! I got interviewed, and it seemed to go well... again! Still didn't get a second interview. I asked for feedback from the internal recruiter, and the feedback was: they didn't think I had enough experience. Maybe in 20 years I still won't have enough experience. πŸ–•
