First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Mphasis.
Junior Analyst
The interview process was quite straightforward. The vibe is more like a chat than super formal, which is good because you can ask stuff and get your thoughts clear. They seem to like answers that are thought-out and clear, with real examples, not just what you read in a book. There might be a manager chat too, where they'll ask about your career goals and how you think you'd fit in at Mphasis. It's a solid but fair process that checks both your technical chops and if you'd be a good fit for the team. If you prep and are confident, it should be a pretty smooth and positive experience.
- Could you explain what a junior analyst does?
- Which data analysis tools or software, such as Excel, SQL, or BI tools, have you utilized?
- Describe a situation where you resolved a complex problem using data.
Technical Analyst
Got a call from a HR recruitment agency for the post. They have recruitment every week through various agencies. The first round is a general introduction of yourself and your background. This is to check your fluency in English and your hold over the language. After the initial screening of this round, the interviewee is set up for a telephonic round test. These are Pearson certified telephonic test to check your English skills. After getting a decent passing score, I was sent to the HR round, where an HR employee of Mphasis takes your introduction. This one is as easy as other company HR round. You just need to be calm and centered. After clearing this round, the Technical round is taken by another employee of Mphasis. If you clear this round, you are offered a job on the spot and asked to report from the following day.
- Can you explain your basic knowledge of the Windows OS?
- Do you have basic networking knowledge?
- Tell me about your understanding of SWITCHES.
Knowledge Analyst
So there was a written test first, and if you passed that, you had a one-on-one with the senior operations manager where they asked about your past experience and how it fits the current job. If they liked you, the third round was with HR to check your competencies and confidence.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- Describe your previous work experience.
- How does your background align with the requirements of this role?
