First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at MPC.
3D Animator
It was pretty straightforward. They wanted to see if I could animate realistic things and how quickly I could do it. They also asked about my past work, particularly if I had experience animating animals.

Lighting Artist
The initial phone chat was genuinely the best interview experience I've had! It was really laid-back and comfortable. They asked me the typical questions like 'where do you see yourself in the next few years?', 'what are your strengths/weakness?', and 'how did you get into vfx/digital art?'. The whole conversation felt casual and informative, and it lasted about 45 minutes. Unfortunately, I found out in the following months that MPC's First Step program was undergoing changes and they were focusing on more entry-level positions this year. It would have been great if that info was available from the start before applying.

3D Artist
The interview process was pretty straightforward. I had a two-day test. Everything was handled professionally, and I was provided with all the necessary tools to complete the task. Afterwards, I had a quick chat with the creative head and supervisors. A few days later, they let me know I got the job.
