I had 2 interviews with HR initially. They mentioned the role had shifted from a strategic focus to an individual contributor role. Then, I had interviews with team members and the hiring manager where we discussed Product Sense. This part required knowledge of metrics and product sense frameworks.

The recruiter seemed swamped, like they were handling tons of candidates. It felt like I was just another number in their system, and they had so many people with my background. They told me upfront that the process was gonna be slow and take a while. I told them I could only commit about 4 hours total. The hiring manager was super chill, but they knew exactly what they wanted. It felt like the job was already basically promised to someone, and I kinda checked out pretty quickly, realizing it wasn't the right fit for me.

I had a 45-minute phone interview over Vidyo, which I recommend downloading beforehand to avoid delays. After that, I was invited to an in-person interview loop in San Francisco. Then, I was invited back for a second in-person interview loop, also in San Francisco. I received an offer from Mozilla three days later.
