The process was pretty standard, like with other roles. I applied and got called in for an on-site interview within a week. I went to the main building's reception for the interview. It was a quick process, and I heard back the next week.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

It was a pretty straightforward interview process. I had a 30-minute meeting that included a tour of the lab facilities. The interview panel consisted of the lab manager and an HR representative. They asked around 15 questions during the interview. The only downside was that I never got official notification about not getting the job, and my application status still shows as active. I've reached out to two people via email but haven't received any response.

The interview was pretty laid-back, more like a chat about what I can do and what I've done. No curveballs, it just felt natural. We kicked off with some technical stuff about my knowledge and experience. Then, they dug deeper into my skills by presenting tough situations and asking how I'd approach them or what I'd done in the past. We wrapped up with questions about how I manage people and my experience leading a team, plus some practical details about things like flexibility.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I submitted my application online and was contacted for an interview a few weeks later. The interview process included questions from two senior lab managers and an HR representative. Following this, I was taken to the lab for a practical demonstration where I had to prepare a 1:10 dilution, a series of dilutions, and count colonies on agar plates.
