First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Moxy Hotels.
Receptionist
It was a really nice and pleasant interview process. You could tell they really cared about the team they had working there and everyone seemed really happy. The interview itself was quite easy, mostly just talking about previous experiences.
- Tell me about any conflicts you might have encountered in previous reception roles.
Bartender
Setting up the interview was a breeze since they sent a text with a link so I could pick my own time. The interview itself went great. They said they'd pass my info to another manager who would set up a second interview. I sent a follow-up email the next day but never heard back.
- Can you share an instance when you managed to make a dull task enjoyable?
Guest Service Manager
The application was pretty simple and fast. It wasn't hard to prep for since Marriott international interview info is out there. The vibe was laid back but still professional. I liked that they gave me time for my questions.
- What's your favorite thing about working here?
- Can you paint a picture of the perfect candidate for this role?
- What aspect of this job holds the most significance?
Server/Bartender
You gotta make 2 custom cocktails and do a three page test about bartending and what you like/dislike. The manager really wants to get a feel for who you are, they don't want to hire someone boring or unknowledgeable.
- What kind of spice would you be
