There were 3 rounds with the third being the finals decision. It was not too difficult. First, you met with HR who let you know how the process will begin. Then, you met with the managers where they asked you multiple questions but made you feel at ease. Then you were asked to write a paragraph on why you would be a good fit. The last step was meeting the director with a final decision. This process has changed.

The interview process felt pretty chill and conversational up until the final stage. That last part was when I talked with an HR person about their offer. She really pushed me to reveal my current/prior salary, even though that's not allowed in a lot of places, and I eventually gave in. Then, she let me know the salary range for the position was about half of what I'm currently making, which is way less than what an experienced CSM should be making. When I pointed this out, she seemed kind of annoyed that I was asking for more money, even though they were supposed to be trying to get me to join their company with more duties. It struck me as odd that the company seemed out of touch with the current job market and how to recruit people who aren't entry-level.

Applied via referral. The whole thing took about a week and a half and was all done over the phone, email/virtual because of COVID. First, a call with the recruiter, then a call with the head of the department. After that, there were a couple of interviews with people from the department, and finally, a call with the CEO. It was great how they communicated; the team was really friendly and open the whole way through. My recruiter was especially good at keeping me informed and being honest, which was helpful during uncertain times.

It was a pretty chill 15 min phone interview. The interviewer was hard to understand, but asked typical questions. I noticed some downsides though, like not getting much company info. The job description changed a couple times before the interview, and when I asked about it, I didn't get a good explanation. (They've posted the job again recently and changed things again, which seems unprofessional and makes me doubt their hiring process). I also had to follow up several days after the interview to find out I didn't advance, which is disappointing. It's unprofessional not to send an email about your status and make people chase you for bad news.
