First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Mountain Peak Marketing.
Marketing Associate
They responded really fast, like within 24 hours of me applying online they set up the interview. When I got to the office, I had to fill out this form with my availability and some personal stuff. Just so you know, this job is 6 days a week full-time. I kinda left right after that. The pay wasn't great and the recruiter was talking about owning a company someday. Just a heads up, be careful of companies trying to take advantage of recent grads.
- Could you introduce yourself?
Marketing Assistant
I showed up at the Towson office and was given a quick survey to complete. After that, I had my first interview with a manager. It was super short, about 10 minutes, mainly covering my resume and a quick overview of the company's mission. The idea of eventually running my own market for the company really caught my eye. I was then scheduled for a second interview the very next day. This is when I found out the core of the job: going into places like Costco, Lowe's, and Sam's Club (what they call 'the field') to sell windows and similar products to shoppers. They mentioned that the branding and marketing stuff comes later, and since they promote internally, you have to learn every part of the business. You're expected to spend time in different roles, primarily sales, and hit weekly lead generation targets to advance.
- Can you tell me what you know about our company?
- What are your strengths?
- What are your weaknesses?
Brand Representative
3 interviews for the job. The first was about 10 mins. The second interview explained the pay structure and the company's business culture, focusing on in-store sales pitching. The third interview was for the offer. The job is hourly and also includes commission. You get paid weekly.
- Could you tell me about your background?
- What are three things that you are passionate about?
Account Manager
We had a two-step interview process. The first round was a quick intro to the business and some personal questions to get to know you. The second round went into more detail about the responsibilities, hours, and pay structure.
- Can you tell me about your strengths?
- What about your weaknesses?
