They called me on the phone and asked me about myself and why would I want to work there. It was a big transition to start working. You answer phone calls, do projects for the staff there and give tours of the university. You really need to be positive and willing to answer all questions and you must do your best to make the university the best it possibly can look...that's your job to be genuine in your thoughts and sayings about the university.

I applied for two different positions. For the first one, they asked for reference letters even though I hadn't officially interviewed yet. I sent them, and then heard nothing back, not even a rejection. For the second position, they asked about my salary expectations and if I could come onsite daily. I said yes and provided my salary needs, which were based on what current directors make. I still never heard back, and my emails weren't even acknowledged. It's been six months with no word. It's extremely disrespectful, and I would never apply there again.
