Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Mount Snow.
Lift Operator
It was a straightforward in-person interview where we talked about what's expected and what the job entails. I thought the process was pretty good regarding how fast they got back to me and how clear they were about what they were looking for.
- Have you ever operated Chair Lifts before?
Ticket Scanner
It was good and not too hard. They ask about your personal background and if you know what the job entails, so you should read up on what it involves.
- Can you tell me about yourself and if you finished high school?
Ski School Manager
I had a very brief interview with admin, and the spokesperson took the lead on discussing policies and the schedule more than the job description or my concerns. Salary wasn't brought up until the end when they offered a limited range, and benefits were unclear because the admin wasn't sure what was available for my specific role.
- Can you commit to working all winter holidays and weekends without any scheduling issues?
