First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Mount Carmel Health.
Associate
They asked me basic interview questions about what I do in my free time, weakness vs strengths, a time I overcame a challenge, etc. It wasn’t a hard interview just come prepared and study your resume.
- What are your weaknesses and how do you deal with them?
- What are your strengths?
- Tell me about a time you faced and overcame a challenge.
Physician Assistant
The interview process was simple and straightforward. It involved an HR and hiring provider. The only question asked was about my interest in the department, besides reviewing the job and my resume. Everyone was very nice, and it felt like they had already made their decision. I was asked to provide references afterwards, but it was a relaxed atmosphere.
- What makes you want to work in this department?
Registered Nurse
Had a quick chat with HR to set up the interview. The actual interview was pretty brief and straightforward. The nurse manager was really chill and easy to talk to. I got to shadow a nurse for about an hour. Got an offer via email just two hours later.
- Can you tell me a bit about yourself?
- How would you handle daily stress?
- Describe a situation where you had a conflict with a colleague.
Pharmacist
The recruiter apparently only looked at my resume during the phone screen. The interview was basically over once they saw I didn't have experience in the specific patient area they were hiring for. This is fine, but they could have reviewed my application first to save us both time.
- Can you tell me about your experience?
- What motivates your interest in MCH?
- Why did you choose to pursue pharmacy?
