The interview process was simple and straightforward. It involved an HR and hiring provider. The only question asked was about my interest in the department, besides reviewing the job and my resume. Everyone was very nice, and it felt like they had already made their decision. I was asked to provide references afterwards, but it was a relaxed atmosphere.

The recruiter apparently only looked at my resume during the phone screen. The interview was basically over once they saw I didn't have experience in the specific patient area they were hiring for. This is fine, but they could have reviewed my application first to save us both time.
