So I interviewed with a Sr. PM for a PM role at Motorola Solutions, and the interview went really well. I answered everything using the STAR method and related it to the job, throwing in info about tech, leadership, telecom, and HW. The Hiring manager is international and on a VISA, and the HR person is also international and on a VISA. I got rejected because they didn't want to sponsor a VISA and wanted to give the PM role to a US Citizen or someone not of color. I tried emailing the Hiring Manager and HR a bunch asking for feedback to help me grow, but they never responded. I found out the real reason later indirectly. I even DM'd Motorola Solutions on Instagram about their non-inclusive behavior, but no response. Being constantly ghosted by a big company like this really messes with your confidence and mental health, especially in this economy and job market. Not cool!

The interview process included standard questions about industry trends and the competitive landscape. They also asked scenario-based questions and about my past experience in various companies, as well as my academic qualifications. Behavioral questions were part of it too, along with questions about why I am interested in this position and why I did an MBA.
