The process usually starts with resume review, followed by an HR interview to align profile and expectations. Then, there's a technical stage focused on PHP, logic, and best practices, which might include a practical test. Finally, there's a chat with the team or manager before the final decision.

Technical Coding

This is one of those companies you already know is a failure from the hiring process. They send you a form with specific questions about their product and expect you to get them right. They take ages to reply, and when they do, they don't even mention why you were rejected.

Behavioral Technical

The whole process took about a month. It involved several steps: talking to a recruiter, a technical test, and meetings with tech leads. The technical test was pretty straightforward, depending on your experience, and the technical questions were mostly related to the test. On the downside, they never mentioned specific details about the job itself. Salary was only brought up in the job offer, which I turned down because it wasn't what I expected.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • Can you discuss how you approach making decisions while completing the test and what your previous work experiences have been like?
  • Tell me about your decision-making process during the technical test and describe your professional experiences.
  • I'd like to hear about your past professional experiences and how you made decisions during the technical test.

Technical Behavioral

The process started with filling out a form and a 'spot the difference' type challenge comparing two interfaces. The second stage was a really long interview, about 45 minutes, focusing on my profile, how I handle situations, and what I expect from the company. During this time, they told me about the salary, benefits, and vacation rules. Then came a technical challenge where I had 5 days to replicate a dashboard with several cards, line graphs, using icons, and adding features like screen scrolling, card element deletion, and fictional data reloading, all using just plain HTML, CSS, and JavaScript – no frameworks allowed. I found the instructions for this part a bit unclear and confusing, some suggestions actually made it harder. Finally, after spending 5 days on the dashboard, I got a generic rejection email saying they found other candidates a better fit, with no feedback.
