Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Morrison Foerster.
Business Development
It was a process with a few rounds. Later on, I had some scenario-based questions like 'what would you do if'. I met with my direct manager, some of the people I would be working with, and senior managers.
- How do you manage handling multiple projects when facing tight deadlines?
Business Development Assistant
Four online interviews took place. The first was with a third-party recruiter, then one with the hiring manager, followed by two more with other managers. Everyone was really nice! They asked the important questions and didn't waste time on anything irrelevant. They also took the time to answer all my questions and address my concerns.
- Tell me about a time you faced a tough situation and how you handled it.
Business Development Manager
The interview process started with a quick 15-minute phone call with the hiring manager. Next, I had a 30-minute interview with the corporate senior hiring manager. Then, there was a written assessment, followed by a 30-minute interview with the BD manager. The final round was a 1-hour interview with the director, which involved scenarios and case studies.
- What would you do if your director asked for help on a project while you were already facing a tight deadline on another assignment?
