This is a lateral hire position. First, I interviewed with partners in the group. Then, I was called back to have conversations with three associates in the group. The partner conversations focused on the types of deals I worked on at my prior firm, the clients I had, and my main skill set. The conversations with associates were more casual and touched on culture topics.

The interview process had two stages. The first round was with two partners, and the second round was with four partners. It took two weeks. It was pretty straightforward and friendly, with video calls for both stages. The partners were nice and very responsive.

The recruiters were super friendly, and each interview felt like a casual chat. Scheduling was a breeze. When I had some tech issues, everyone was really understanding and helpful. It genuinely felt like I was talking to people I've known forever. I'm really looking forward to joining them.
