The whole interview thing was pretty straightforward. First, I had a phone chat, and then I went in for an in-person meeting. It all wrapped up in about two weeks, and then they made me an offer.

I applied online and the first thing was a call from HR for vetting. Then, I was invited for a face-to-face interview, which was a group interview. I met several people from the company and then got a tour of the facility.

I first attended a Morris Group job fair about a month ago. The recruiters were friendly and seemed genuinely interested in their roles. I submitted a brief summary of my education and skills. Then, two HR reps spoke with me to ensure I was considered for the best-fit job. After that, I talked with members of the service team, as that's the role I was applying for. I was told I'd hear about the next steps within a few weeks. They kept their word and scheduled a second interview about two weeks later. Since I'm currently employed, they arranged it for a weeknight to accommodate my schedule. I toured the Windsor CT facility and had a relaxed but formal interview. Following the interview, I completed a brief assessment to gauge my strengths and weaknesses from their perspective. I was informed I'd be contacted in the following weeks. They followed through again and offered me the Field Service Technician position. I'm set to start in just under three weeks.
