First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Morris Bart.
Paralegal
Got referred by a coworker, did a phone interview first. Then came in for an in person interview. They asked pretty standard questions and also asked for references and did background questions. Didn't get an offer, but it was a fine experience overall. I'd interview with them again sometime.
- What are your strengths and weaknesses regarding past work performance?
Attorney
It was a very refreshing experience having the chance to interview in such a nice building. It’s on the 24th floor so there is a great view from the front receptionist desk.
- Average questions at best I suppose
Associate Attorney
The interview process was pretty standard, lasting about an hour and a half. It included a Zoom call with Morris Bart himself, who came across as a bit condescending. However, the local attorneys I spoke with were nice and relatable.
- What is your expected weekly commitment in hours for this role?
Legal Assistant
Met with Darlynn, who was friendly and professional, making the interview relaxed. The interview took place at the Pan American Life Center in New Orleans and lasted about 20 minutes. I didn't meet the attorney I'd be working for, which seems to be the norm as they hire for the firm generally.
- Could you describe the entire lifecycle of a case?
- How do you handle disagreements or challenging individuals?
