Morris Animal Foundation Interview Questions
& Process

First, I had a phone interview with the team lead. Then, about a week later, I had two back-to-back video interviews with three staff members each from different integrated areas. The whole process took about two to three weeks.

The interview kicked off with a quick 20-minute phone chat, followed by another in-person phone interview. The questions felt a bit weird and confrontational. For instance, the interviewer struggled to grasp how I managed multiple freelance roles simultaneously, even though my resume clearly labeled them as contractor/consultant gigs. After I described my daily and weekly routine as a growth and digital marketer, the interviewer repeatedly asked for my hour-by-hour activities, as if doubting my account. They seemed quite confused, frequently spoke over me, and interrupted often. There was also a noticeable gap in their understanding of the technology involved, suggesting they hadn't done much prior research.

The interview process was pretty standard. I had an initial phone screen followed by a half-day of interviews with various department staff like the Prospect Researcher, Database Manager, Chief Development Officer and Major/Planned Giving Officers.
