First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at MORRIS ADJMI ARCHITECTS.
Scrum Master
The interview was pretty chill, the interviewer was nice. Most questions were about practical stuff, about 60%, and the rest theory. It was a great experience overall.
- Could you describe the Scrum Ceremonies?
Designer
Submitted my portfolio and resume, and then had an in-person interview with the studio director. It was very professional. HR was responsive, and the whole process felt really transparent. I felt comfortable asking a lot of questions as an interviewee. They didn't end up making an offer because they were looking for candidates with different qualifications, but the experience was good.
- Tell me about your software skills.
- What are your career aspirations at this firm?
- Could you walk me through your previous work experiences and your portfolio?
Intern
I had a joint interview with two employees via Microsoft Teams. They asked straightforward questions, and the interviewers were friendly. I got a response in a few days.
- What kind of office environment do you prefer?
Junior Designer
I met with two studio directors for about an hour. I introduced myself and my career path. Then I talked about my past work using a printed version of my portfolio. After that, they described their office and the projects I would work on.
- Could you explain your reasons for leaving your previous job and pursuing a master's degree?
- Reflecting on your team project at school, what presented the greatest challenge?
