The first couple of rounds went fine, but before the third one, there were a lot of warning signs, which I chose to ignore. The panelist for the third round was a solution architect from Mumbai. My virtual interview was scheduled for 4 PM on a weekday. I finished my work and rushed home, only to get a call at 3:59 PM saying the panelist was busy with work. Two days later, I was asked to come to their office, and it turned out to be the same panelist who wanted to conduct the virtual round from the office! He started by saying it was a system design round, mentioning that I'd already answered coding questions in previous rounds. He asked me repetitive questions, as if expecting textbook answers. I explained everything using analogies and technical details. After the interview, HR told me the panelist needed to consult with the previous panelists, which seemed odd as if he wasn't aware of their feedback. I was rejected a few days later.
