Game Operator
The interview was conducted in Malaysia. They were looking for candidates who were engaging and loud. It was important that you could speak English clearly and had the ability to grab people's attention. They gave us an example and then asked us to perform in a similar way, like saying things such as "Come on in, check it out, who's up, who's next, who's ready".
- Which would triumph in a contest between zombies and vampires?
- Perform a demonstration as a game operator, using phrases like 'Come on in, check it out, who's up, who's next, who's ready' to engage an audience.
- Showcase your English articulation and your skill in capturing attention.
Lifeguard
The interview was really quick and straightforward. It started with a short presentation about the company and the available positions. Afterwards, there was a one-on-one interview. The recruiters were friendly and asked easy questions. Even though I initially wanted to be a ride operator, the recruiters convinced me to go for the lifeguard role, which I'm so glad they did! It turned out to be the best job I've ever had.
- Can you introduce yourself?
Server
It was basic questions regarding my restaurant experience and customer service skills. It was very relaxed, easy, and very conversational. I was also asked how I handle pressure and what I do to relieve stress in my life. They want to hear that the customer is always right and that this is a family-friendly environment and that you can appeal to all age groups.
- Have you worked in a restaurant before?
Accounting Intern
I had one interview that was mostly behavioral, with two other accountants. We interviewed over Microsoft Teams. The questions weren't too hard, and there weren't many technical ones, except they did ask about my favorite Excel function.
- Which Excel function do you like the best?
