The interview process was exactly what I was looking for. Detail oriented, culturally minded and uniquely transparent. Through the process, I had the opportunity to interview them as much as they interviewed me. It started with an initial phone call, followed by a GoToMeeting call. I was asked to prepare a detailed practical exercise which allowed me to display my skillset to ensure I was the right candidate. In short, I was offered the position and to date the company has exceeded my expectations.

I interviewed in person with the 2 owners, Dennis and Andy, back in 2008. It was very confrontational. My resume is heavy on affiliate program management, and they were looking for someone to grind out SEO and PPC tasks for very little money. They explicitly stated they didn't see a fit because they never planned to offer Affiliate Program Management as a service. However, a few months later, I saw MoreVisibility's Affiliate Program Special Forum on ABestWeb.com, suggesting they launched the service anyway. I already knew what I was getting into because LinkedIn showed that most employees lasted less than a year.

The interview process lasted about two weeks. It kicked off with a preliminary phone call, then another phone call, and finally an in-person interview. For the in-person part, I had to prep a practical assignment: a social media strategy presentation with custom-designed sample posts and copy. I also needed to write a blog post optimized for SEO. The interviewers were super nice and gave a lot of info. Even though I didn't get the job, it was a good experience and seems like a cool place to work.

I had 2 interviews with MoreVisibility. I first interviewed with The Director of Marketing, as well as the CEO. The interviews were very thorough. I was able to ask all the questions I had with respect to Salary, room for growth, expectations, health benefits, paid time off, etc. All of my questions were answered to my satisfaction.
