First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Morae Global.
Human Resources Manager
Applied through LinkedIn and had a quick chat with the recruiter. They told me about the company and asked some basic questions. I already did some research beforehand, but the recruiter also gave me info on benefits and the company. Then I spoke with the remote HR Manager, who was nice and explained the role more. After that, the HR Director shared even more details about the position and I got a sense of the team's good culture. I felt I interviewed well and the recruiter let me know the hiring managers had positive feedback. Sadly, I didn't get the job as someone else was chosen.

Human Resources
Applied via LinkedIn, got viewed, then a recruiter reached out for an initial phone screen with some questions. Then, they scheduled a virtual video interview with the Hiring Manager. I met with a different leader first, and they said I interviewed well. They wanted to reschedule with the actual Hiring Manager. The recruiter arranged another interview, but the Hiring Manager had to reschedule again. A few days later, the recruiter told me they needed to reschedule *again*. I was understanding because I know how busy HR can be and was excited about the job. On the day of the rescheduled interview, my current HR Director scheduled something last minute that I couldn't move. It ran a bit over the hour, making me 5 minutes late to the Morae interview. The Hiring Manager wasn't there, and they told the recruiter to reschedule me *again*. The recruiter mentioned she was on the call initially but I wasn't there from the start. She had to leave for urgent work and said we'd reschedule. That was it for the interview process; the recruiter said she'd contact me to schedule something else but never did. Honestly, I felt like if this is how they treat their recruiters and potential hires, the company culture might not be a good fit. I was accommodating and gave grace when they rescheduled multiple times, but when I needed a little grace for my own HR duties popping up last minute, Morae didn't extend the same courtesy. I never heard back about rescheduling or a decision.
- Can you share how your past experience has prepared you for this position at Morae?
Sales Support Administrator
I went through two online interviews, which led to a verbal job offer that included salary details and key terms. The offer was then confirmed in writing. Based on this, I resigned from my current job. However, when the contract arrived via Docusign, its legalistic and bare-minimum nature raised concerns, prompting me to seek advice and request an in-person meeting. They agreed, and the meeting was helpful. I then informed them I was ready to sign, only to discover they had offered the position to another shortlisted candidate who had also interviewed that day. I was told I was 'overqualified,' and later received an email voiding the contract offer due to non-signing, despite no deadline being set. The entire process from receiving the contract to my readiness to sign was nine days, which included communication with their US HR team and two bank holiday weekends. I found their recruitment practices unethical.

Legal Associate
The interview process had two rounds. The first round was mainly a CV-based technical discussion with the Senior Director. Given my PQE and a reference, it was pretty easy. They prefer candidates with domain knowledge and experience in Commercial Contracts and data privacy (US privacy law). Round two involved HR questions about personality, self-awareness, and career path/vision, with a senior manager who might be based overseas or in the US. Make sure to present your best self – management is informal and relaxed during the conversation but will carefully assess your answers to ensure you're a good personality fit for the team. Overall, the interview experience was decent. A potential issue is that after qualifying and receiving the CTC from HR during salary negotiations, the senior management tried to renegotiate the CTC with a slightly lower counter-offer.
- Can you share your experience with HIPAA (US data privacy law)?
- What types of commercial contracts have you handled?
- Could you introduce yourself?
