I had a phone call with someone. They were nice and professional, but it felt like there were some department changes happening. It was a bit unclear if the position was still available, which was disappointing. So, I decided to move on. It seemed like a good opportunity, and I wish good luck to others applying.

It was a long and thorough interview process with several interviews. I met a lot of the staff and higher-ups. They gave me a good tour and we talked a lot about the job. It took a lot of back and forth, but I got the job in the end.

The interview process involved 4 distinct stages. It began with a 30-minute phone call. This was followed by an extensive 3-hour in-person meeting that included interactions with various individuals and groups. A key part of this stage was preparing and delivering a PowerPoint presentation, followed by answering questions from a large audience. Subsequently, three references were contacted. The final stage was a 30-minute interview with the President.

After a phone screen with the dean of admissions and an admissions manager, I was invited to create and present a 10-minute PowerPoint about the college's strengths. I also met with various teams to discuss the position. The day after the interview, I submitted my references. Weeks later, upon discovering my references hadn't been contacted, I followed up and was informed I wasn't selected. This was disappointing given the preparation required and the lack of communication after the interview.
