First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Moore Capital Management.
Technical Support Engineer
I got contacted by a recruiting agency for this role. It was a pretty long interview process, and they told me there were about 4-5 rounds. The first round was with HR and the hiring manager, mostly to get to know each other and for me to learn more about the position. I think I skipped the second round. The third round was more involved, it was on-site for 3 hours, and I met with 7 people from the team. I believe there was a fourth round too, also on-site. All the people I met were nice, and it was a positive experience overall, though I felt some individuals I spoke with weren't directly related to the job's responsibilities.

Analyst
The first step was a chat with the BD team where they threw some brainteasers and fit questions my way. Then, I had an in-person interview with the PM and a junior analyst, and we went deep into long and short stock pitches.

Summer Associate
I submitted my CV via the school career website and received an interview invitation a few hours later. The first round interview was about a week after that. I met with HR and two investment professionals for about 3 hours total. The second round involved a case study. The whole process was quite smooth and everyone seemed really relaxed. Overall, I had a very good impression.

Applied around March. Heard back in late April. Had 6 interviews total, split into two rounds. The first round was virtual with HR and the manager. Then, there were 4 in-person interviews back-to-back with the team to validate my fit. It was a really great experience with a nice firm and team.
