Manager
The initial interview was very quick and straightforward. I have a second interview coming up soon and am excited to learn more about the role. I'd definitely recommend applying if you get the opportunity. The questions asked were simple and to the point.
- Can you tell me about your leadership skills?
Benefits Specialist
I had a quick phone chat with Larry Moore, one of the Junior Partners. He then invited me in for a typical in-person interview. I got a more detailed look at the job and the company during this meeting. Even with lots of other strong candidates interviewing that day, I was really impressed by the office and the people I met. Everyone seemed really happy and I liked the whole experience. I've been working for almost ten years but I've never seen a place with this kind of environment and culture.
- What are your personal and professional goals for 2019?
Benefits Specialist
I was contacted by a recruiter via a job search site. They had me fill out a form for a webinar sign-up. After doing some research on the company and its parent company the next day, I decided not to attend the webinar. The recruiter texted me right away to see if I had questions, and I asked them to remove my info from their system. No reply. Later that day, I got a call but no one spoke so I hung up. They called weekly for 3 weeks and only spoke on the last call. The woman asked how I was and if I liked the webinar. I told her I'd asked to have my info removed 3 weeks ago, but she kept going and asked about setting up a Zoom interview and if I had questions. When I finally made her understand I didn't attend the webinar, she hung up abruptly.
- Did you attend the webinar?
- When could you set up a Zoom interview?
- Do you have any questions?
Insurance Agent
I applied on Indeed and first had a phone interview to talk about the job and see if it's a good match. Then, I went to a company overview session with the VP, who was really open and detailed about everything related to the role. After that, they thanked me for sticking around for the whole overview and then contacted me to see if I was still interested in the job and wanted to schedule a final 1-on-1 interview over Zoom.
- Are you okay with the hours for this job?
- Can you tell me about a tough challenge you faced at work?
- What was your strategy for dealing with that challenge, and what actions did you take?
