The whole interview process took about a month and a half. Two people missed their scheduled phone interviews, and when I called, I was told they had already left for the day. It took two weeks to sort out travel arrangements. I offered to handle it myself to get there sooner. I flew in for the interview and stayed. All four of my interviews that day started 20 to 50 minutes late. The room they assigned me had issues with power, phones, and the TV going out multiple times. Housekeeping accidentally threw out some of my personal belongings, thinking they were trash. The food provided was also problematic, with incorrect orders, raw meat, or items that should have been hot arriving cold. I started to wonder if I was being intentionally messed with.

The interviewers here are really nice and aim to make you feel comfortable. You shouldn't feel nervous going in because they're super professional and friendly, and they seem genuinely happy to meet you. I had five interviews in total, and the last one was a panel interview where I met with five executives at once, but it wasn't scary at all. Be polite and let your people skills shine. The main challenge is just the sheer number of interviews; this isn't a place to apply if you're not ready to fully commit.

So I had a phone interview first, then I had more interviews with people from HR Assistant all the way up to the dining director. They all went well, except for the dining director, I felt like she didn't like me from the jump. Then I had this panel interview with 5 executives. I guess I said 'um' too much because one of them mentioned it. Then the Human Resources Executive asked why I didn't list my last employer. I said I only worked there for a season and thought it might be a red flag, but my direct manager is my top reference, and I actually told her during my third interview that I worked there seasonally. So it's not like I was hiding it, but she seemed to think I was a liar, which I'm not.

I applied online for the Massage Therapist position at Montage in Beverly Hills and was contacted by HR within two weeks. My initial interview was with HR where I discussed my previous jobs, experiences, and knowledge of Montage. The HR representative was very friendly and helpful, even offering advice for my next interview, which put me at ease. The second interview was with a spa manager, focusing on behavioral and specific questions, which I felt went well. However, the third interview with another spa manager was disappointing. I had scheduled a practical interview via email, but she had forgotten about it. Since I couldn't reschedule, she shortened the hour-long practical to thirty minutes and peppered me with questions during the massage. It felt rushed and I felt like an inconvenience. Montage has a total of five interviews, and generally, the staff are very friendly.
