First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Monsanto Agricultura.
Finance Manager
The HR team conducted a very professional interview. There were three stages in total, and everything was well-organized. The first one was in person, and the other two were virtual.
- What would you consider your biggest weakness?
Sales
I had an initial screening call over the phone with the recruiter. It seemed like there were a lot of people applying for this job, so it was mostly a way to filter candidates. I got to learn more about what the job entails, and the recruiter learned more about me. They spent most of the time explaining the role in detail, and less time getting to know the applicant.
- Could you share some information about yourself?
IT Manager
The interview experience wasn't what I expected. They were rushing me because they started my interview late, which was totally disrespectful. Once the interview started, they spent more time explaining what the company does than asking about me as an employee. They were very inflexible and not friendly at all.
- How do you define yourself as an employee?
IP Compliance Specialist
First, you'll get an email asking for your availability for an HR phone screening, followed by the actual call from HR. If you get through that, the Hiring Manager will then call you for another phone screening. The process finishes with an in-person interview involving HR, the hiring manager, and the team.
- Tell me about a time you disagreed with your manager. What was your approach?
