Had a phone interview, it was going well until they asked where I was from. After that, the interviewer's tone shifted, and the call ended abruptly. They said I'd hear back in a couple of weeks, but I got the standard rejection email about a month later, after I had already accepted another offer.

It took about 2 weeks to get back to me. We had a meeting where we talked about my tire knowledge and past performance. They were very interested in my certifications and what I know, but a detailed questionnaire covered most of it.

Behavioral Technical

I was called in for a Job Fair. The interview was basically filling out new hire paperwork and a formal application. After that, I was taken to the garage to a folding table. The regional manager, who invited me after reviewing my resume, sat in for only about a minute. We were in a room with 4 other tables with people being interviewed for different jobs, it was really annoying. It was 90 degrees, noisy, and filthy. I was the only one in a shirt and tie, and I left my suit jacket in the car. This was not the expected environment for an $80k+ professional job. The interviewer seemed irritated to be interviewing someone for his own position, it was a very negative experience.

Applied online, and the district manager reached out via email. I then met with two district managers. We started with basic questions like "Where do you see yourself in two years?" After a few more general questions, they started pitching the job to me. They mentioned they're always looking to replace their lowest-performing managers.
