Behavioral Technical

First, there was a recruiter call where they asked about my background, current role, sales targets, and why I want this job. It was pretty chill, mostly checking if I was a good fit and if I was available. Then, the hiring manager round focused on sales skills, how I've hit my quota, and typical scenarios for this role. Expect questions about handling objections and closing deals.

Behavioral Presentation Case Other

I had three phone interviews, first with the lead recruiter, then the SDR manager, and finally the director of worldwide sales. After that, I went on-site for a four-hour interview that included one-on-one chats and an SDR challenge. The challenge involved a presentation and a mock discovery call with a current SDR, the SDR manager, and the director of worldwide sales. The next day, I talked to another sales director before getting an offer. The interviews felt thorough but relaxed, focused on making sure it was a good fit for everyone. The SDR challenge was the toughest part, designed to filter out candidates not ready to put in the effort. What really stood out about MongoDB was how passionate everyone was about the company and its future, their pride in being good at their jobs, and their genuine transparency.

The overall experience was good. I found the role on RippleMatch. It was mostly behavioral and situational questions. I wasn't selected in the end because they needed someone with more sales experience.
