First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at MoneySolver.
Director
I really liked the interview process. First, I had a phone call with HR. Right after that, I met with the hiring manager, who is the COO. Then, they scheduled an on-site interview which included a tour of the facility, and I got to ask more in-depth questions and they asked me more questions. At the end of the interview, they told me I was exactly what they were looking for. They said the timeline would be a few weeks because of the 4th of July holiday. After I reached out at the 3-week mark, they told me the interview process was wrapping up and they'd be in touch by the end of the week. Four weeks later, I finally got a one-line email from the HR person saying they decided to go with an internal candidate and thanked me for my time.

Tax Analyst
The interview process had two steps. First, I had an office tour and met with two different managers from the department. After that, I met with the director of the department separately. The managers were friendly, professional, and easy to chat with. The office seemed like a good place to work, and I liked seeing the work environment and meeting various team members. It gave me a good sense of what it would be like to work there.

- What are your career aspirations for the next five years?
Sales Consultant
I was contacted about a job offer for a position I didn't apply for, which was funny, but I was interested and wanted to learn more. It seems they liked my resume. I was interviewed by someone else, and she was very direct. The job description implied they would train people with less experience, but she said I wasn't a good fit because they wanted someone with more aggressive sales experience. I tried to be polite, but it was a negative experience because the interviewer told me I wasn't wanted right away.
- Can you discuss your previous employment experiences?
- Could you describe your sales experience?
- What would you do if you happened to win the lottery?
Debt Analyst
There are a few people you will meet with, and the on-boarding process is pretty strict. They really want to make sure you are a good fit for the team. I first spoke with Jennifer, who was very enthusiastic and made me feel excited about the opportunity to join such a great team. I met a few others, but she was the one who really stood out.
