So it was a pretty standard interview, including a skills test. Mine was remote since covid was still a thing. It was a pretty chill chat and ended with a job offer which I took.

The interview process was long. They spent a lot of time trying to sell the company, but the benefits are standard and the holiday allowance and sick pay are poor compared to local employers. First, there was a group exercise where we had to assemble a jigsaw while being watched and then complete a spelling test. After that, we got a tour of the building; the working stations were sterile. We listened to some fast-paced phone calls. The final task was a typing test, transcribing messages, and leaving a voicemail. Successful candidates were told they'd be called for a final interview, which I had the next day. The interview itself was easy, but the interviewers felt artificially nice, giving me a negative impression. The questions asked felt unethical.

After I applied, I had a quick phone interview that was mostly about my telephone manner. Then, I had a skills test which included grammar, spelling, general knowledge, a typing test, and recording a voicemail. After that, I met someone from the company to learn more, and then found out I got through to the interview. The interview itself was pretty standard, asking how my background fit the job, no tricky questions. They were really nice and kept me updated the whole way.
