Automation QA Engineer
The whole interview process is smooth and seamless. It took me 3 weeks to complete the whole process. The response from the talent acquisition team is fast. There are 3 rounds for the whole application process which is exactly the same as what has been stated in the job posting. The first round will be the online interview to discuss about your past experiences and your understanding about the role and company. The second round will be the physical interview and it is expected to have technical assessment in this round. The interviewers keep things professional but also approachable during the interviews – it feels more like a problem discussion than a formal test/exam. After that there will be third round of interview which will discuss about your personality and career aspiration. The overall interview experience is well satisfactory.
- Can you tell me about your past experience in QA and your understanding of the QA role?
- What is your experience with Selenium testing and API testing?
- Do you have any behavioral questions for us?
QA Automation Engineer
Overall, the hiring process was quick and easy, with feedback provided after each stage. The first round involved an introduction, where they assessed my current role, reasons for seeking new employment, and my salary and learning expectations. Next, I had to complete an automation assignment on HackerRank within five days, which could involve either Selenium or Appium. If successful, the process moved to a technical round. This round featured technical questions and scenarios related to the assignment, followed by a final round that included both technical questions and a discussion about my motivation for the role and future career aspirations.
- Can you tell me about the automation frameworks you've used in your previous roles?
- How do you approach exploring new tools and setting up test environments?
QA Automation Engineer
The interview process was ok. The second technical interview wasn't that much difficult too. But I got rejected. It is better if they can include the feedback from the hiring team when sending the email of rejection. Because we need to improve our skills to apply for more jobs. It is a big support that they can do it for the candidates without sending a general email.
- Questions related to Selenium were asked.
- Questions related to Postman API testing were asked.
- Scenarios from their website were presented and you were asked how to write automation scripts.
