Applying for this job was straightforward. However, the technical test was quite challenging. It demands proficiency in programming and a high degree of speed. Additionally, there were numerous assessments to complete.

MoneyLion had the best interview process I've seen. It was long and a bit complex, with 4 stages, but they give you feedback. The first few stages are just to get to know you and see what kind of person you are. They probably want to see if you'll fit in since it's a startup with a young staff. They likely want someone energetic, enthusiastic, and easy to get along with. It should be easy to get to the next stages if you seem like a good fit. The third stage is a timed take-home technical assessment. I'd suggest practicing beforehand. I didn't have much professional Java experience, which is a main requirement, so I spent two full days on HackerRank basics. I reached Silver level, which was stressful, but you can probably do it too. Practice beforehand if you can. How well you do determines if you move to the next stage, where you meet the team and your manager. They'll ask about your take-home assessment. You should know how you did and what to expect. I told them upfront about my limited Java experience, and they were more understanding. Be honest with yourself and the interviewers; they'll know if you're faking it. I got an offer but declined for personal reasons. The interview process is tough, but the perks make it worth it. The Machine Learning Engineer salary is above average, justifying a thorough process.

I had to do a take home assessment. They gave me a sample question and data and I had to build a working application that could answer questions from the data.
