It was an online interview that had a technical and non-technical part. Some live coding was involved, and they asked specific questions about your engineering experience and technical difficulties you've faced and overcome.

The interview process was straightforward and efficient. It began with submitting my application. Next, there was a coding assessment that consisted of 3 exercises, which I found to be of mid-level difficulty. Following that, I had an HR phone call focusing on behavioral questions. The final stage was a 1-hour on-site interview where we discussed the specifics of the role, my past experience, and generally evaluated my skills and knowledge.

I applied as a fresh graduate. The first round was a Hackerrank test with 2 questions focusing on logic and SQL, no algorithms required. It lasted 300 minutes. The second round was a Live Coding session, also on Hackerrank, with 2 logic and SQL questions, but easier than the first. The tech lead was helpful with hints. I needed to explain the time and memory complexity for the logic question, and they asked about database indexing, Java OOP, streams, functional interfaces, and Spring DI and auto-configuration. This round took 1 hour. The third round was an in-office interview with a panel of a tech lead, a senior software engineer, and a TA. It had three parts. First, I introduced myself and asked questions. Second, there was a technical/behavioral discussion. They asked about my internship, working culture, challenges, and how I solved them. Then, we discussed case scenarios where I had to present my solutions. This was the longest part, with many technical and behavioral questions. Finally, I asked any remaining questions to the panel. The interviewers were friendly and professional, allowing for open discussion. It lasted 2 hours.
