I was contacted by a headhunter. The process started with a chat with the hiring manager, followed by a personality test, and then I was tasked with developing a sales strategy. My second interview was in-person with the hiring manager again. It involved competency-based questions and a presentation. After a month, I got a generic rejection email with no specific feedback.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I went through 5 rounds of interviews, including 3 with the Engineering and Product teams, 1 HR round, and 1 with the CTO. After all those rounds, Moneycorp didn't even bother to give me any feedback. The recruiter tried to chase them multiple times, but it was just silence. It's surprising that even with the CTO's involvement, they lack basic professionalism and communication skills to at least send a one-line rejection. The role was about bringing change, but it seems they need consultants to teach them basic professionalism and communication. I've never had an experience like this in my 20 years of career.

Behavioral Case Technical

I submitted my CV and an application form to HR. After a quick phone interview, I was invited to their office to meet the head of legal and a solicitor. They were both very friendly, and the interview felt more like a casual conversation about my background and skills. Near the end, I did a case study and discussed my approach with the interviewers. They said I'd hear back by the following week. Two weeks later, I followed up with HR, who mentioned a delay and promised an update. Another two weeks passed without a response, and my emails to the HR staff member went unanswered. After five weeks, I contacted a different HR person who quickly informed me I wasn't successful. The legal team experience was great, but the HR team seems disorganized and unprofessional, not showing much respect for candidates.

The HR team was very responsive and accommodating regarding my location, conducting most interviews via video call and allowing time for travel arrangements for the final in-person interview. They provided consistent updates and feedback throughout the process. This was one of the most pleasant recruitment processes I've experienced, even before receiving an offer. The process included screening, a phone interview with HR, an electronic test (covering personality, math, and reading comprehension), a business case, and a 1:1 interview.
