Behavioral Presentation Case

It started with a phone call from HR, then there were 5 interviews with peers, followed by an interview with the Hiring Manager. After that, I had an on-site presentation and case study with 7 leaders. Then, 2 interviews with external stakeholders. They verbally offered me the job and we negotiated, but then they rescinded the offer.

So the process started with a recruiter call, then I met with the hiring manager. After that, there was a panel interview where I had to give a presentation. About 6 people were on the panel and they asked me questions after my presentation. Then, two interviewers talked to me for about 30 minutes and asked more questions.

Case Behavioral

The recruiter reached out, and the initial contact was good. But then, the case study was sent, and things went downhill. The case was huge, covering VC pitch, finance, product strategy, and GTM strategy. I had one interview with the hiring manager, but he just asked about my past work and completely ignored the case study. I was rejected without any feedback on the case solution (which included 2 PPTs and 2 Excel files), which I found pretty disrespectful.

Technical Other

The recruiter mentioned that no agtech experience was needed, but then I was immediately asked to tackle a big issue involving dealerships. It felt like they were asking for free ideas for a tough problem. This seemed like a pretty amateur hiring approach. The recruiter also said everyone had to work onsite, but I learned during the interview that the hiring manager works remotely and the CEO made a special exception for them. It felt unfair. While the tech was interesting and the people were nice, they really missed the mark on having fair hiring and work policies.
