First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Monarch Healthcare Management.
Registered Nurse
The interview process was pretty standard. They'll likely ask you about staffing and nurse-to-patient ratios because they often run short-staffed. It was mainly questions about why you like working in long-term care and how long you've worked in that setting.
- What are your long-term career aspirations over the next five years?
Health Information Assistant
I had a phone interview that felt unprofessionally done by someone reading from a script, and they didn't seem to care about my answers at all. Even though I know it's for screening, the interviewer's lack of engagement was a red flag. They didn't even know the salary range for the job, which is surprising. Then, I had an in-person interview with a really nice woman who saw that the HR screener had wasted both our time because the starting salary was $10 less than what I was asking for. The screener had my salary request and somehow didn't connect that this whole process was a waste of time. Given the current low unemployment rate, most applicants are already working, and salary is a major factor.
- Is your current employment status active?
Business Office Manager
The interview was extremely unprofessional. I interviewed with the HR Director, Administrator, someone who handled AR at the corporate office, and the Regional Director. The HR Director was not friendly at all. During one of my responses, the AR person interrupted me rudely, exclaiming “OMG WE FORGOT TO CALL SO AND SO.” We were also interrupted twice by other staff members knocking on the door. It was a horrible experience overall and showed me everything I needed to know to NOT work for this company.

Certified Nursing Assistant
It was easy and laid back, not too many questions. They replied fast when I communicated with them. I got the job right there at the interview. I even picked out my schedule and scrubs then and there.
