First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Monadelphous.
Innovation Lead
We start with a quick chat to make sure our salary expectations align. After that, there are two main interviews: one that's technical and another that's behavioural, both with the hiring manager. Then, you'll have a separate meet-and-greet session with some of the team members.
- Can you tell me about your experience with potential projects you might work on in this role?
Recruitment Consultant
I had 2 interviews, the first one was a 1-hour phone call with a recruiter where they asked me behavioral questions. The second interview was in person with the hiring manager and recruiter, which also went for over an hour, and we talked about my background, experience, and the company culture.
- What motivates you to join Monadelphous?
Learning and Development Officer
I applied online and then had a phone screen. After that, I had a face-to-face interview at the office. It was a quick interview, about 30-40 minutes long. They asked very straightforward questions about my past experience and degree related to the role.
- What is your motivation for this role?
Officer
Went through two interviews for an office job. First one was pretty standard, seemed professionally run and we had good engagement. Second interview was with the person I'd be working with. From the moment I walked in, they didn't seem very interested in talking to me. It felt like I was just there to listen, and we couldn't have a two-way chat about the job. They actually left in the middle of the interview after asking just one question. Didn't feel like a good sign at all.
- Can you describe your experience?
