The interview process involved 3 rounds. First, there was a quick intro with the recruiter who was very helpful and provided a thorough overview of the company, the role, and what they were looking for. Second, a technical panel interview happened on Teams with a technical person and an HR. The technical interviewer seemed prejudiced and had a few memorized questions, some with incorrect answers. Many initial questions were closed-ended, likely from online blogs. My answers were direct, but the interviewer became aggressive. He then asked open-ended questions, but insisted on his specific prepared answers even when mine were correct and clear. Many questions were unrelated to the job description and seemed like entry-level queries. Despite defending my correct answers, he was determined to prove me wrong with his prepared responses, as if he intended to reject me from the start. This lowered my morale, and I eventually conceded to his incorrect arguments. I didn't interact with the HR person, so I'm unsure of their role. I know from interviewing others that we should guide candidates positively, but this was the opposite; the interviewer seemed to prioritize his ego by rejecting as many candidates as possible. I couldn't proceed to the third round, the Managerial Round.

Behavioral Presentation

First I had a phone interview with HR, and then we set up an in-person interview. During the face-to-face, an HR person showed me around the building. After that, I had two 45-minute interviews with two directors. Since I had another job offer, they decided to speed things up and scheduled a third interview with one of the VPs of Technology. They gave me a verbal offer during that interview, and later that day, I received a formal offer letter via email.

Technical Behavioral Coding

I started by talking to a recruiter at a job fair. A few weeks later, they invited me for an on-site interview. This first interview involved two tests: a quick logic/IQ test and a test with about 8 programming questions. After the tests, I chatted about my resume with a team lead and a senior manager. About a week after that, I came back for a second in-person interview. In this second interview, I met with another senior manager and a VP. They asked me a few technical questions (but no whiteboard coding or anything like that), and mostly we just talked about the company and my previous work. By the end of this interview, they offered me the job. I thought it was easy because the questions weren't as technically hard as other interviews I've had. For reference, an 'average' interview for me usually means a technical phone screen followed by an on-site whiteboard coding session. A 'difficult' one usually has off-site coding interviews and/or a coding challenge, plus on-site coding interviews. P.S. From my experience and what friends have said, if you get to the second interview, you're pretty much good to go, so just be chill and friendly. P.P.S. Also, they were all really nice people. I think everyone I met asked if I wanted water or a coke or something.
