The office vibe wasn't very professional. It was a quick, 10-minute first interview that didn't really explain what working at Momentum is all about. Their website didn't reflect what the job actually entails. I was told there's a 70% travel requirement to go to trade shows for clients like Sam's Club/Costco, essentially just selling products. Then, the goal is to become a "campaign manager." I didn't get much chance to ask questions about the company or the interviewer because it felt rushed, like they wanted to get through more candidates.

I applied for what I thought was a customer service job, and then I got a call for what seemed like a quick phone interview. They invited me for an in-person interview later that week. When I got there, they said it would be a short 10-minute chat to see if we should move on. The interviewer told me it was actually a marketing job, but didn't give any details about what I'd be doing. They invited me back for a 2-hour interview the next day, but I decided not to go after looking at this site. It's annoying when companies aren't upfront about the job type just to get you in. They should be honest from the start.

Behavioral Group Presentation

I was interviewed for an Event Planning Assistant role. Multiple other applicants were present. While waiting, they were calling other applicants and offering them interviews. My interview started 45 minutes late. Once I was taken back, the initial interview lasted about 20 minutes. I was asked only about 3 questions and then listened to the HR manager talk about the company. The office was a bit sketchy, it was in a 4-office suite that felt more like a doctor's office than a company. It also sounded a bit like a pyramid scheme.

Behavioral Technical Other

It was a pretty simple interview process, very clear and effective. First, I had a basic HR call about the position and what to expect. Then, a virtual Zoom interview with the hiring manager who explained how my typical day would start and what to expect, and asked a few sales and marketing related questions based on my experience. The final stage was an in-store interview with another manager to discuss pay and further processing.
