The interviewer was nice and friendly, and she gave a clear explanation of the job duties and what is expected. She asked about my availability and if I am able to work in Canada. She also described the areas the teams work in, how many teams she manages, and the team assignments.

When I arrived, we went over the job duties and I was given some training. I also helped out with some of the tasks. Then, we had a brief interview where we talked about the job and what it would be like working during the summer holidays.

I posted an ad looking for work and got an email the next day asking me to call to set up a phone interview. I tried calling but they were closed. The next day, I had the phone interview. They then asked me to come in for an in-person interview on Thursday with the main person and then with everyone else. They reviewed my resume and asked questions. They told me to call them the next day if I didn't hear back. I called, and they wanted me to call when I got my work schedule to figure out what day off I had to come in for a working interview. I was off the following Tuesday, so I went in. I filled out all the normal hiring paperwork and an employment offer. I spent the day answering phones, stuffing envelopes, picking up lunch, and washing cloths. The office was pretty chill. One person worked hard, another ate breakfast and left for estimates, and the third was on her phone all day. I was told I'd get $100 for the day and they would vote on whether to hire me. He mentioned he was going on vacation and a decision wouldn't be made until he returned the next week. By the end of the week, I got a check and a rejection letter saying they wanted someone who didn't need training. I was confused because I thought I had the job, but maybe it wasn't the right fit since one person seemed to do most of the work.
