The interview process was pretty easy, and I had two interviews for the job. I spoke with the CFO in the second interview, who seemed really smart. I didn't get much feedback on why I wasn't selected.

I found the job on ASU's Sun Devil Career Link and was contacted by the Associate Director of Portfolio Accounts in Phoenix to set up an interview. Later, the Recruiting Manager in Dallas reached out, unaware I'd already interviewed, which made it seem like the offices weren't coordinated. The interview itself was pretty chill. The interviewer was dressed casually and asked about my experience with Costar or Loopnet. He also wanted to know about my experience talking with brokers and spending time on the phone since the job involves researching markets, often by calling brokers to get local info and verify what Costar/Loopnet shows. It felt low-pressure; we even shared some laughs and talked about personal things.

We started at a Job Fair, then had a Phone interview. After that, there was a Meeting at the office with multiple candidates. The final stage was a Day of interviews where the Brokers would decide who they wanted on their team. They invited all candidates to a night event where we toured the office and met people from different departments. The last day involved several interviews with partners and associates who offered recommendations.

The interview was about 30 minutes long. They started by asking me about C++ and my core subjects. Then, they moved on to operating systems and data structures, which I answered all their questions about. After that, they gave me a technical problem to test my skills, which was a simple program that I finished in about 10 minutes.
