I called the casino about my application and they noticed my interest and invited me to a group interview. During the group interview, they used ice breakers and activities to assess your attitude, skills, and qualities. Based on this, they'll decide if you're a good candidate and might ask you for a personal interview for the role. If so, the personal interview is about 30 minutes with the department supervisor/manager. The manager will ask about your past experiences, interests, hobbies, and why you applied. You'll hear back within a week if you're hired.

It was a pretty average interview process. They asked me about my experience, which I don't really have any of. They did say they loved my writing samples though. In the end, I didn't get the job because they said I lacked "Practical Experience," not because I couldn't do the actual job.

I sent in my application online. About a week later, I got a phone call asking if I could come in for an interview with management. A week after that, I had a 3-day orientation. The following week, I trained on the casino floor. It was a really nice experience, not stressful at all, and the interviewer was kind.
