I've gone through ten interviews over the last six months, some with supposedly top-tier companies. My experience with Mohawk, however, was exceptional from start to finish. The communication, setting up the interviews, the interviews themselves, and even the final call from their internal recruiter to inform me they'd hired someone else – yes, a phone call – were all outstanding. The interview questions were insightful and relevant, and they generously allowed time for my own questions. These are truly thoughtful, competent, kind, and caring individuals.

It was pretty easy, usually two or three interviews with different people. The questions weren't too hard, they just wanted to see if you could hold a normal conversation. Some questions weren't even related to the job, like asking about my astrology sign, which was really unprofessional.

I met the Director of IT in the lobby and he took me to his office. He went over the job details and then asked some questions about my resume. After that, we just chatted to see if I'd be a good fit for the team. It was about an hour and a half.

It started with a chat with the HR Manager, then I met with the hiring manager and his supervisor. Everything was done online through Microsoft Teams. I also had to complete some Caliper Assessment testing to see if I was a good fit.
