Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

Had two 30-min interviews with junior folks, one focused on behaviour, the other technical. Then, an in-person assessment centre that included a case study, a presentation to senior members, and a vibe check interview with the MD. Overall, it was a good experience with friendly and supportive people, though the culture across teams is pretty intense.

First off, they looked at my resume, then I had a first round of interviews, and then I went in person for a superday. For the superday, there were only a few candidates at a time in the room, and I had to sign up for a time slot.

I networked with an MD and VP and got referrals. Applied online and was sent standard numerical and verbal tests which I completed the same day. Got an interview a few weeks later. The interview process had two parts: a Technical interview with an Associate and a General interview with the VP I networked with. The Technical interview was a mix of motivational and technical questions; we walked through a DCF valuation. The VP interview was very relaxed as we'd spoken before, and we discussed next steps. I didn't hear back from anyone after that, and after chasing HR for a month, I was rejected without feedback.
