First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at MoeGo.
Customer Success Manager
They keep reposting and interviewing for this role but never seem to hire. It feels like they're mining experienced candidates' brains for their own internal strategy. My interview had easy questions because I do the same job elsewhere, and their generic 'we're not moving forward' email confirmed my suspicion. They'll likely keep reposting the CSM role, interviewing (picking brains), and rejecting.
- Can you tell me about the size of your book of business?
Project Manager
I had an initial call where they didn't explain the role or company. Then I had a second interview with the co-founder. She asked for more than what was in the job description, which felt like a red flag. The role seemed like an individual contributor, but she asked about managing and training teams. I suspect I would be overworked there.
- Can you describe your project methodology?
People Success Manager
The hiring team didn't seem to know much about interviewing and they told me that the company has problems with culture and work-life balance, mentioning that people work late and on weekends. The current employees seemed unhappy and not into their jobs. The CEO also asked some questions that were not allowed by the EEOC.
- How do you handle working with people from different cultures?
Onboarding Specialist
The interview questions were unprepared, inconsistent, and frankly terrible — the team didn’t understand the role, contradicted each other, and asked outdated or irrelevant questions that made it clear there was zero internal alignment.
- Why do you want to work here?
- Do you know our customers?
