First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Modspace.
Marketing Assistant
I had an hour-long phone chat with my direct supervisor, and then an onsite interview where I met with both my direct supervisor and the head of the department. I got the offer about a week and a half after that. The whole thing was set up through an agency.
- Can you tell me about your experience with lead generation?
- What's your background with mail serve?
Construction Project Manager
I was contacted via email and my resume was checked. They needed copies of my licenses and certifications to confirm them. They mentioned I'd have to do a background check and a drug test and asked if that was an issue. They inquired about the local permitting agency for the job's jurisdiction and if I was licensed in the county. I was asked to take a drug test. I was then given the job.
- Could you tell me about your years of experience in the construction trade?
- How long have you held your professional license?
- Do you hold an OSHA 30 certification?
Operations Specialist
I applied for the job online and got a phone call within a few days from HR at the corporate office. The call was about a company intro, the job details, and asking about my general experience, strengths, and weaknesses. It was a short, basic call, about 20 mins. I heard back about a week and a half later with a rejection email. If I had moved forward, the next interview would have been at the branch.
- Tell me about your strengths.
- What are your weaknesses?
- Can you describe your experience?
Financial Reporting Analyst
HR reached out via email and then there was a 30-minute phone chat with an HR specialist. Following that, there was an onsite interview with the hiring manager and a Sr. Analyst. The interview with the Sr. Analyst was tough, with lots of technical questions and no time to ask my own. The hiring manager's interview was more general.
- Could you share what sparked your interest in this role?
