First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Modine Manufacturing.
Application Engineer
The interview process varies a lot depending on the team you're talking to, but HR does a decent job of keeping it on schedule. The people are usually nice. Some of the newer teams really care about their work and can be a bit tough if you don't seem super skilled in their area.
- What made you decide to leave your past positions?
Program Manager
I had a total of eight interviews for this position. They initially told me to wait, saying an offer would be extended that same day. However, that day passed without any news. Following two more interviews, I was informed the next day that the job requirements had changed and they would no longer be considering me. I'd advise caution with this company, as they seem untrustworthy; I ended up passing on other offers because of them.
- Can you share your experience related to this program manager position?
Financial Analyst
Was contacted by a recruiter after submitting my resume, which was a bit strange because I had to email it in instead of using an online form. After the initial phone screen, I met with four people face-to-face: two managers, a director, and the hiring manager. They all seemed to have been with the company for a long time and were very much aligned with the company's message. The questions were pretty soft. After the in-person interviews, there was absolutely no follow-up from anyone, which was unprofessional, especially since I couldn't even get an automated response saying I wouldn't be getting an offer, even after I reached out.
- Can you describe a situation where....
Manufacturing Engineer
I applied via email and heard back a month later with an email from HR about a phone interview because I wasn't from the area. The phone interview itself was pretty casual, just typical phone interview stuff like asking about my internships, what I'm looking for in a supervisor and company culture, my strengths and weaknesses, and why I'm interested in Modine and a good fit. They didn't ask any technical questions. It took about three weeks to get the offer after that.
- What do you want in a supervisor?
